What is spiritual satisfaction to you? In a world that is governed largely by getting ahead with material things, it seems as if there is never enough. Even if a person has already achieved much of the material trappings, it seems that these things may not entirely satisfy her desires.
It is this characteristic that describes more than half of the westernized world! It’s of the utmost importance to take action before people destroy one another (and the planet!) for the sole purpose of becoming much richer, more successful or more beautifuThese people need to start to realize that all of the possessions and pleasures in life are only temporary which they can never bring with them when they pass away. However, with this thing called spiritual satisfaction, a person can finally say that she does not want anyworldly things to satisfy herself but more of satisfaction of spiritual wealth.
And while achieving spiritual satisfaction can be a wee bit of a challenge to reach, such a process is actually the same for those people we may call hermits who choose to live in the mountains in pure solitude and peace. However, considering the world like ours, it is much moredifficult these days to live like hermits especially due to our lives being so caught up by materialism.
It is therefor wise that we do not take being a hermit literally, rather take it as a challenge in order for us to learn to live in simplicity and satisfaction.
Disregard Quantity
The first thing that you need to do is to think with a sense of connection to divine intelligence and disregard the value of quantity. More often than not, people mistake quantity as the basis for richness and value. However, it is exactly the opposite of it.
Live In The Moment
The second thing that you can do is to simply live in the moment. Many people are too concerned with their past or perhaps their future that they soon fail to realize that they can in fact only really live in the present moment. Thus, they can forget the value of the things that they have right NOW because they are totally caught up by the things that
have happened or have yet to happen.
In order to live with spiritual satisfaction, you need to live right now and right here without exception. Enjoy every moment that has been given to you and make sure that every moment counts for something important.
As long as you are aware of this need, then you will for sure find yourself developing into amuch more satisfied and fulfilled being.
Accept That You Are Enough
The third and perhaps the most important part that you should know is that by being yourself, you are already enough. The act of putting down one’s self or perhaps saying that you are not enough can totally block you from achieving spiritual satisfaction.
As long as you see yourself as being not worthy, then you are limiting yourself to every possibility that may show up for you.
Remember that as long as you don’t see the true image of yourself, then it only means that you are slowly getting further from the one Divine Source who has created you from it’s likeness.

Great points, Moira. For me, staying grounded means spending time in God’s Word. It is my road map and I am always so amazed how it caters to my everyday needs. The truths shared there are timeless, they don’t change. What was the truth way back is the same truth today and those old tested principles still apply and work for my good today – in my personal life but even more in business. I just love it!!! Thanks for another great post. I appreciate you. x0x
Thanks so much Norma – I always appreciate your loving and uplifting comments!
I have a bit of hermit in me, and I’m increasingly focused on having less stuff. Literal and figurative clutter interfere with energy flow and with accessing the source without a source.
That’s excellent Shari – less stuff is a wonderful way to stay more mindful of energy flow.
Lovely post, Moira! Great points, especially #3 “Accept that you are enough.” Thank you…I needed this reminder. God bless.
Thanks Alexandra! Yes we all need that wee reminder from time to time don’t we?
Wonderful post, Moria! – I resonate with your words of wisdom.
Thanks Barbara!
I love this! I never let me and what I do be enough..;) Thank you for the reminder!
Thank you Elizabeth – reminders help us get on track and then there’s another just when we need it most 🙂
Moira , I love that you say to “accept you are enough”, such an inspiring post. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Meryl, I believe that the ability to accept our own selves is such a key component to healing!
Beautiful post, Moira, and so very important. I especially liked your 2nd and 3rd suggestions.
Thanks Lisa – I agree, the 2nd and 3rd points are important and they ones we need to be reminded of over and over again!
Nice post Moira, you always have to accept that you are enough
Thanks Tom!!
I soooo need the reminder to stay in the moment. Thanks, Moira 🙂
You are very welcome Catherine!
I would like to challenge you, just a little 😉
You say “Accept That You Are Enough”, I am not sure that “enough” is the perfect word..I agree accept yourself, but me personally if I accept I am enough I would not grow?!
Being enough has for me the tendency of still stand.
You know what I mean?
I DO know what you mean Yvonne. However, for myself it’s by accepting that I am enough that I am able to focus on growing.
The way I see it is that we can sometimes waste precious time and resources to fix something we think we are lacking (or that is broken in us).
What I’m trying to say is that perhaps being enough could provide the foundation for greatness rather than ongoing fixing.
This is great stuff Moira! I really needed the reminder to live in the moment. It’s so easy to get caught up in worrying about tomorrow.
Yes – living in the moment is what gives us the greatest power!
I love the idea of living with spirtual satusfaction within the moment! I always seem to have to many thoughts being juggled within my mind. Great post!
Thanks Daniele – yes calming those thoughts down is key!
Your posts have a way of just calming me down..I like that! I also like the idea of ‘accepting that we are enough’ so very important and a message that many need to hear!
I love to hear that Anita! Thanks for that.
Thanks for that present moment reminder. I always try to keep myself coming back to that!
Good for you Leslie!
Great post. It is nice to know that there are like minded individuals who are fighting against the idea of materialism. Stuff does not bring you happiness. I was unhappy for many years and hated myself because I wasn’t true to myself and didn’t accept myself for who I am. Thankfully I am now.

Thanks Sebastian! I’m so glad that you are in a place of accepting yourself for who you are – it’s so important.
It definitely is and it took a lot of trial and error over a two year period. I look forward to reading more of your blog.
