Do you sometimes wonder how to bring satisfaction in life? Life is an amazing journey that you get the pleasure to enjoy. It’s important that you maximize your time on this earth by ensuring that you enjoy every single moment you can.
It’s the little things in life that can bring you the most joy. Some people believe that your level of personal happiness is dependent upon the actions of others. While contributions from your loved ones certainly can boost your spirits, the key to everyday satisfaction rests within your own hands.
Try these three ideas to bring more satisfaction into your life each and every day:
1. Love yourself. When you have low self-esteem, a hovering black cloud covers your whole world. Release yourself from the darkness and learn to love yourself exactly as you are.
Stop talking about losing the extra ten pounds and just work on maintaining your current weight. Make it a point to invest time into your appearance each morning to ensure that you look fabulous before walking out the door. When you look good, you feel good, and confidence will beam from your pores.
2. Treat yourself. If you’re only working to pay bills and save money, life becomes a drudgery and can feel monotonous. You can feel pampered without spending hundreds of dollars. Everyday joys are about the little things.
Allow yourself to enjoy the fruits of your hard work by treating yourself to a regular manicure, massage, video game, or DVD.
3. Exercise. If you’re currently a fan of spending your free time on the couch rather than the trails, it’s hard to imagine exercise as a form of bringing satisfaction into your life. But, once you begin exercising, you’ll become addicted to it!
Get out into the great outdoors and enjoy the scents and scenery of nature. Or join a boxing class at your local gym. If you’re a people person, opt for the gym and if you’re an outdoorsy person, exercising with nature can become a form of meditation.
Keep in mind that the more you exercise, the healthier you’ll be and the longer you’ll be able to enjoy life. You’ll also feel good, look good, and have agility to last indefinitely.
It’s true that the best things in life are free. While your occasional treat may cost a few dollars, you can feel content with your life without spending a lot of cash.
Life is too beautiful to constantly put your needs on the backburner. Enjoy each and every day by making your happiness a priority. Look for the small, everyday moments that bring a smile to your face. Make the most of each moment to begin experiencing the joy-filled life you deserve today.

What’s best about your suggestions is that they’re virtually free … in fact they could actually all be fulfilled at no expense. When I was going through my “financial reinvention” 12 years ago (meaning I was flat broke!), my joy came from taking a break from my work and having a good rich coffee overlooking the lake … or counting the blooms in my garden … or driving over to the beach and putting my feet in the sand. I knew that not everyone could do those things; being able to made ME (and my day) special. It’s truly about redefining in your mind “what it takes” to make you feel special … and satisfied!
That’s such an excellent thing to keep in mind Sharon… it’s important to realize that we CAN feel satisfied in life no matter what level of income we have – in fact the more satisfied we can feel – the more things the Universe will bestow upon us to feel satisfied with!
I need to exercise again! I know that it’s a great stress reducer and makes me feel great!
Yes Elizabeth – I definitely need exercise to keep my stress levels in check! Let me know if you need any support to get into a routine with that – I have some great tools 🙂
Such a great message…I find that if I take time and enjoy the little things, it does make me feel more joyful and satisfied. Thanks, Moira!
My pleasure Anne! It’s important to acknowledge and enjoy the little things for sure!
Thank you Moira, for the tips on getting off the sofa, loving yourself and empowering yourself to your greatest potential.
Thanks for reading Barbara! I appreciate what you do to help motivate and empower people also!
Great tips as always Moira! It’s always about balance, isn’t it? Great share!
Thanks Norma 🙂 Yes – balance is the key piece for sure!
I can hardly wait until I get addicted to exercise….It’s never happened BUT I am gaining patience 🙂
Being patient is a good thing Anita! Maybe you haven’t become addicted to exercise is that you haven’t found something super-fun to do 🙂
I love these tips. I think the most important one is to love yourself. Our positivism radiates and people gravitate to us based upon how happy we are and how good we feel about ourselves All of these tips are so very important though:)
Thanks Daniele – yes I’d agree with you about the love yourself piece… everything else kind “clicks” when we do that.
Thanks Moira! What good info! I will have to get into exercising ASAP! : D
I look forward to hearing how that goes for you Liz!! 🙂
