Have you been wondering what is Life Coaching? Life Coaching is a series of empowering techniques for personal and professional development.
This type of coaching is based upon concepts from sports, business, spirituality, psychology and organizational development. It is for passionate people like you who want more from life, personally, professionally and spiritually.
A coach helps you set larger, more rewarding goals, develop a strategy to achieve them AND provide support throughout the process. It’s somewhat similar to having a personal trainer or an athletic coach – transformational, but in a personal and professional sense. The achievement of goals is something that comes more quickly as a result of the coaching partnership.
How does Life Coaching work?
Coaching works when there are two factors present:
1) You (the client) are willing to grow, and
2) There is a gap between where you are now and where you want to be.
Successful coaching clients know the value of sharing ideas with someone who understands them and is subjective enough to want a lot for them, yet objective enough not to be biased or self-serving. Talking about options with someone who can listen is often enough to have it all become very clear.
Coaching works because of three unique features:
1) SYNERGY: You and I become a team, focusing on your goals and needs; you will find that you accomplish more than you could alone.
2) STRUCTURE: With a coach, you’ll take more action, think bigger and get the job done, thanks to the accountability I provide.
3) EXPERTISE: I know how to help you make better decisions, set the best goals, develop new skills for communicating, and restructure your professional and personal lives for maximum balance, purpose and joy.
Where do you start with a Coach?
I begin with a thirty-minute complimentary telephone session to allow for us to get to know each other. I want to hear about your goals, needs, and problems. You’ll want to get comfortable with me. During this meeting, both of us will design a list of goals and a game plan to reach these goals.
What happens when you begin to work with me?
- You take ownership for yourself and what you want.
- You take more effective and focused actions right away.
- You stop putting up with things that get in your way (procrastination ceases).
- You create momentum to achieve more, be more balanced and develop more joy in your life.
- You identify and get rid of the blocks that get in the way of achieving your goals.
- You communicate about what you need and want from others in a more responsible and positive way.
- You start enjoying life more, you feel more in tune with yourself and expressing your authentic self becomes second nature!!
